Division Manager – Cascadia Apparel

Company Overview:

Cascadia Apparel is a dynamic and rapidly growing division of Velociterra, dedicated to excellence in custom apparel and souvenirs. We aim to elevate our current $2M revenue to $10M within the next few years. To support this ambitious goal, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Division Manager with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to lead our team to success.

Position Overview:

As the CAS Division Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our division. You will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, training, budgeting, and managing daily operations to foster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and accountability. Your primary focus will be driving sales growth, optimizing production processes, and ensuring seamless execution of our expansion plans. This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to identify new opportunities, drive initiatives, and achieve our ambitious revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Entrepreneurship:

  • Develop and implement innovative strategic plans to achieve divisional sales targets and overall growth objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive business expansion.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to develop and monitor a monthly budget, ensuring financial health and resource allocation for growth initiatives.

Sales Growth and Business Development:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to expand the division’s market reach.
  • Continuously explore and test new sales channels, marketing strategies, and customer acquisition methods.

Accountability and Goal Management:

  • Establish clear performance metrics and goals for team members, fostering a results-oriented culture.
  • Hold individuals accountable for their responsibilities and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives and operational plans, adjusting as necessary to stay on track.

Innovation in Production and Operations:

  • Develop and lead initiatives to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to propose and implement new ideas and solutions.
  • Implement best practices and technologies to streamline operations and enhance product quality.

Training, Development, and Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts and onboarding of new employees, ensuring a strong and capable team.

Inspiring and Motivating the Team:

  • Motivate and inspire team members to perform at their best and achieve their full potential.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating passion, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit within the team, encouraging creativity and initiative.

Collaboration and Issue Resolution:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and solve complex issues.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where teamwork and communication are prioritized.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management and business development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent strategic planning, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Experience in promotional products, custom apparel, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana, and CRM software.

Additional Information

Salary range: $85,000 – $95,000 DOE
Schedule: full-time, Monday-Friday
