Sales Manager

COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are a ~$15M custom promotional and souvenir product company with a clear path to $20M+ growth.

We operate across three brands:

  • – Arrow Emblems
  • – Cascadia Apparel
  • – Impulse Souvenirs

Our sales team consists of 9 reps with a mix of industry veterans and developing talent.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead and improve our sales operation.

This role is not about maintaining a team, it’s about:

– Driving growth
– Improving rep performance
– Building a more consistent and scalable sales system

You will be responsible for running our Sales Operating System, which includes:

– Account tiering (Tier 1–4)
– Weekly sales cadence
– Rep scorecards
– Account growth strategies
– Stock program expansion

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Own

1. Run the Sales Operating System

– Lead weekly sales meetings focused on performance and action
– Track and manage rep scorecards (revenue, pipeline, account growth)
– Enforce accountability and performance standards

2. Drive Revenue Growth

– Increase revenue per sales rep
– Improve performance consistency across the team
– Identify and execute opportunities to grow existing accounts

3. Coach and Develop Sales Reps

– Conduct weekly 1:1 coaching sessions
– Improve rep performance in:
a) account development
b) upselling and cross-selling
c) pipeline management
– Support both experienced and developing reps

4. Manage Account Strategy

– Ensure all accounts are properly tiered and actively managed
– Drive movement of accounts up tiers
– Focus team efforts on high-value opportunities

5. Expand Stock Program

– Grow adoption of our stock program across key accounts
– Increase order frequency and predictability
– Identify accounts best suited for program-based selling

6. Stay Close to the Market

– Attend trade shows and key customer meetings
– Work alongside reps in the field
– Develop deep understanding of:
a) customers
b) product mix
c) buying behavior

7. Collaborate Cross-Functionally

– Align with operations and production to ensure execution
– Communicate customer needs and opportunities internally
– Help balance sales growth with operational capacity

Qualifications

Required

– 5+ years of sales leadership or senior sales experience
– Experience managing or coaching a team of 10–15 reps
– Background in:
a) promotional products
b) consumer goods
c) wholesale / retail sales
– Proven ability to improve team performance (not just personal sales)

Preferred

– Experience in custom products or manufacturing-driven businesses
– Experience working with both:
a) retail accounts
b) distributor channels
