Digital Product Manager
Salary: $75,000-$85,000 DOE
Reports to: Software Development Manager

Velociterra ensures innovation, quality, and customer-centricity across all of its operations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated junior Digital Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative software solutions for our proprietary ordering and inventory systems. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of business goals, user needs, and technical execution. With a strong background in product development, market analysis, and Agile methodologies, you will own the product lifecycle from ideation to delivery and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Align product goals with company objectives and stakeholder priorities.
- Product Development Lifecycle
- Lead the development and prioritization of the product backlog.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designer to ensure user-centric design principles.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Manage testing, release planning, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues/bugs.
- Present product updates, technical notes, training, roadmaps, and results to stakeholders and executives.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from customers, stakeholders, and team members.
- Performance Measurement
- Define success metrics for features and products.
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction post-launch.
- Use data-driven insights to iterate and improve the product continuously.
- Agile Facilitation
- Act as a Product Owner within the Scrum framework, managing sprint planning, reviews, deployment communications, and retrospectives.
- Foster a collaborative Agile culture and act as a champion for iterative development practices.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (relevant certifications are a plus).
- Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in product management, preferably in software or technology.
- Hands-on experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven track record of successful product launches.
- Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to balance technical knowledge with business acumen.
- Proficiency with product management tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
Preferred:
Product Management certifications such as CSPO, Pragmatic Institute, or AIPMM.
Experience in SaaS or software development environments.
Software experience: Jira, Confluence, Asana, Figma.
Familiarity with APIs, cloud technologies, or software integrations.
